Homelessness and mental health in the ACT

To mark World Homeless Day and World Mental Health Day on 10 October 2025, ACT Shelter released a factsheet highlighting the deep and growing connection between housing insecurity, homelessness, and poor mental health in the ACT.

ACT Shelter acknowledges the Ngunnawal, Ngambri and Ngarigo peoples as the traditional custodians of the unceded lands of the ACT and region. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and recognise their continuing connection to culture, community and Country.
